NEW YEAR… SAME ME (as I make questionable* purchases of old printmaking gear).
This new addition is a Morgan Line-o-Scribe Model #1422 proofing/poster press. I already find it way more approachable than my Craftsmen bench top letterpress and I’m excited for the experiments and nonsense to come.
This acquisition was made, in no small part, to the continual inspiration I get from artists & printmakers here on IG – namely: @willowcrestpress
@mikeyburton & @simplebits
Thanks for all the creativity & and the beautiful work you put out into the world.
If anyone wants to come play around in my garage, let me know. We just might need to move some typewriters & stencil cutters out of the way.
*I regret NOTHING
