Elite squads. Dirty betrayals. Explosive results.
2010 delivered a pair of action movies built around elite military teams betrayed by their own government and forced to fight from the shadows. The A-Team and The Losers both mix over-the-top action, wisecracking camaraderie, and elaborate revenge plots, making them feel like long-lost siblings separated at the casting office. The A-Team embraces cartoonishly ambitious set pieces and blockbuster spectacle, while The Losers keeps things a little scrappier, balancing comic book style with a healthy dose of self-aware humor. If you've ever wondered how two studios arrived at almost the exact same action premise at the same time, this double feature has the answer... sort of.
The A-Team
A group of Iraq War veteran Army Rangers -- Hannibal, Face, B.A., and Murdock -- are framed for a crime they didn't commit and go on the run to clear their names, using their unique skills to expose the real culprits while staying a step ahead of the U.S. military and the CIA.
