Keeping it casual? Good luck.
In 2011, Hollywood couldn't stop asking the same question: can two attractive friends really keep romance off the table? Friends with Benefits and No Strings Attached both revolve around platonic hookups that come with one simple rule: don't catch feelings. Naturally, things get complicated. While Friends with Benefits leans into fast-paced banter and self-aware humor, No Strings Attached plays the concept with a softer, more traditional rom-com touch. Same relationship contract, same inevitable fine print, but two distinctly different takes on modern love.
Friends with Benefits
Jamie, a New York City headhunter, recruits Los Angeles art director Dylan for a job, and the two quickly become close friends. Hoping to sidestep the messiness of romance, they agree to add sex to the friendship with no strings attached -- only to discover that keeping feelings out of it is harder than they expected.
