The Museum of Food Anomalies presents:
Frankenmato
Marrit sends in evidence of experiments in tomato reanimation. Could this be how Dr. Frankenstein perfected the technique for his monster? No, that’s just a book… or is it? Yes, it is just a book… Or is it something more?
IT’S ALIIIIIVE!
It’s a stretch mark. =]
It wasn’t getting enough water.
Poor Frankenmato. =[
Damp weather kept the flower on the stem after pollination instead of it dropping off. A couple bits of the flower draged along the baby tomato as it grew, making the zipper mark. It’s called “cat-facing.”
